This vehicle suffers with a poor idle quality and fault codes for high fuel rail pressure. This vehicle has a pressure relief valve located in the fuel rail. A mechanical devise to relieve over-pressure on the fuel rail.

This valve has been know to fail. When removing this valve it often falls apart, this needs to be replaced. The new valve will be in one piece.

Once this has been done, it will need to be reset in the functional test menu of the scan tool.

Following this the pump/injectors will need resetting. This is under the injector pilot relearn function. After this, it has been noted the idle quality is greatly improved.
